Bolton Global Asset Management, a federally-registered investment advisor, provides investment advisory services under the trade name Portocolom Capital Partners through its registered investment advisor representatives.  Portocolom Capital Partners is unaffiliated with Portocolom A.V., S.A. “Portocolom Spain”, a financial services firm registered and operating in Spain.  Portocolom Spain is a solicitor of accounts for Bolton Global Asset Management and is compensated for its referrals.  The fee Bolton Global Asset Management pays to Portocolom Spain does not increase the fee clients pay to Bolton Global Asset Management for its services.  The referral fee is paid out of Bolton Global Asset Management’s standard advisory fee.  The fact that Portocolom Spain is compensated results in a natural conflict of interest inasmuch as it serves as an incentive for Portocolom Spain to refer clients to it.  The effects of this conflict are mitigated by the fact that Portocolom Spain does not influence prospective clients’ decision on whether to receive investment advisory services from Bolton Global Asset Management.
